Trigger Point Therapy

Trigger Point Therapy is a subset of neuromuscular therapy which examines and treats muscles and muscle attachments in layers from superficial to deep, ligaments and connective tissues. Trigger point therapy is also called myofascial trigger point therapy. This therapy is highly effective at reducing trigger point pain and is a bodywork technique that involves the application of pressure to tender muscle tissue in order to relieve pain and dysfunction.

It is important to have a licensed massage therapists who can readily recognize myofascial symptoms and are sufficiently skilled at finding and treating trigger points. Trigger point therapy has been used for decades by doctors, pain specialists, and massage therapists to quickly stimulate the flow of oxygen and promote rapid pain reduction.
